About Edohara Pension

Edohara Pension is a guesthouse that offers accommodations tailored to each guest's needs. Use it as a base camp for music camps, adult school trips, private retreats, 4x4 and motorcycle tours, Mt. Asama climbing, BBQs, cycling, trekking, birdwatching, golf, tennis, skiing, snowboarding, backcountry adventures, and other activities. From July 2020, it will operate as a B&B. (Dinner is available only for guests on private retreats and mild camping experiences. Please inquire for reservations. )
Due to recent increases in prices and fuel costs, we regret to inform you that our previously operated minibus shuttle service will be discontinued as of fiscal year 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Prepare for Departure
Before your departure
• Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM (on departure day)
• Pets not allowed • Parking available (12 spaces, free)
• For last-minute reservations, such as on the day of your planned stay, please call us. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your reservation after it has been made.
• For cancellations or changes, a cancellation fee will be charged in accordance with the Karuizawa Pension Association's cancellation policy.
• Please refrain from bringing in alcohol, wine, etc., when dining in the cafeteria or during BBQ.
• If you bring your own bottle, there will be a charge of 2,000 yen per bottle for opening the bottle.
• Smoking is prohibited inside the building and in the guest rooms. Please smoke only in designated areas.
• Please bring your own towel, toothbrush, and sleepwear if possible. (Towels and toothbrushes are provided.)
• Please make your studio rental and ski rental (Telemark NTN) reservations at the same time as your booking.
• There are hot spring facilities (2 minutes by car): Sengataki Onsen and Hoshino Onsen Tonbo no Yu. Discount coupons are available.
• We are now accepting reservations for our Pine Cone Garden BBQ. (5000 yen excluding tax)
• We accept reservations for wedding receptions, buffet parties, year-end and New Year parties, welcome and farewell parties, business camps, etc.

A lounge where everyone can play
A lounge where everyone can relax, watch TV together, play with LEGOs, read picture books, books about mountains and the outdoors, history books, and more. There's also Jenga, Uno, and playing cards. It's a multi-purpose lounge for both adults and children. A baby crib is available.

Edohara Pension has an attached music studio, Creative Complex Studio . This studio can be used for various musical activities such as music camps and training sessions. Our professional staff will support your important musical activities.
Although it's a studio, many artists have created great experiences here. It's also used for pre-production camps and rehearsal camps.
