Information

Please use this as part of your travel drama.

An Activity Base Since 1976, Edohara Pension originally opened in Minegahara Plateau, Nagano Prefecture. Since 1989, it has moved to Karuizawa, offering guests a variety of experiences that suit their preferences while allowing them to appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons. Please use us as your base for exploring travel and exploring activities. Enjoy a slightly luxurious tent camping experience, or gather around a bonfire and have a BBQ with loved ones or friends in our moss garden or pine cone garden. Or simply relax and do nothing at all. In fact, we recommend that kind of travel drama as well. From July 2020, only breakfast is included (dinner is not provided). (Dinner is available only for guests on private retreats and mild camping experiences. Please inquire for reservations.)

I've started a blog ! I'll be sharing updates about my daily life at the guesthouse and information about Karuizawa.
